The synopsis and advance cuts of the TV anime "Cinderella Nine in August," which will start airing on April 7 (Sun.) at 1:35 am, have been released. In addition, additional characters were announced.

The anime is based on Akatsuki x KADOKAWA's "Cinderella Nine in August" (iOS/Android), a youth baseball game that was ranked No. 1 in free downloads on iOS in 2017 and has a total download count of over 1.5 million. In the game, the player takes on the role of a high school girl manager leading a girls' baseball team in a story based on the themes of adolescence, high school girls, and high school baseball, and aims for the "Koshien" (the National High School Baseball Championship) while coaching and training the team members.
The anime production staff consists of Susumu Kudo, director of "Ghost in the Shell: ARISE border:4 Ghost Stands Alone" and "Minami Kamakura High School Girls Bicycle Club"; Hitoshi Tanaka, series director of "Go! Princess Pretty Cure" and "Yuru Canpu! The animation is produced by TMS Entertainment, Inc. Animation production will be handled by TMS Entertainment.
