The third season of the TV anime "To Aru Majutsu no Index," "To Aru Majutsu no Index III," whose final episode will finally air today, April 5, 2019 (Friday), has arrived with postrecording photos and advance scene cuts.

To Aru Majutsu no Index" is a light novel series published by Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA ASCII Media Works) in 2004, and as of October 2017, the series has sold 16.35 million copies, making it a historical mega-hit. In 2008, the first TV anime adaptation was made, followed by the second TV anime season in 2010, and in 2013, it was screened as an animated film version, gaining popularity. Toaru Kagaku no Railgun" (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun), an offshoot of this work, has also been animated for two seasons of four TV anime and one volume of OVA, and has gained tremendous support from fans all over the world.
The production of the third season of the TV anime "To Aru Majutsu no Index", "To Aru Majutsu no Index III", was announced on the new information stage at the "Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2017" held on Sunday, October 1, 2017, and it will be broadcast from Friday, October 5, 2018.
