Thefilm will be released in theaters on May 24 (Fri.) , and the theme song and ending theme song for the film will be sung by Superfly, an artist who has gained support from people of all ages for her overwhelming vocal ability and originality. In addition, a hot trailer for the film has been released.
The theme song for the animated film will be "Kakusei", which was written by Superfly herself based on the world view of the film.
Superfly, who has decided to sing the theme song of the theatrical anime for the first time, said about the song, "I felt that the movie itself is a work full of humanity, not just to incite battle, so I imagined a battle not to hurt people, but to protect someone. I think it turned out to be something new and different from Superfly's previous works, not only cool, but also interesting, like a collage of melodies." He commented with his utmost effort. The powerful voice and the flickering tune of the song, which is like a "flame," the theme of this work, make the work burn hotter and brighter.
In addition, the trailer, which is full of heat, has also been released.
In the trailer, Garo (CV: Kenichi Matsuyama), a rookie member of the "Burning Rescue" with a burning "fire extinguisher spirit," and Rio (CV: Taichi Saotome), the leader of the "Mad Varnish," an aggressive group composed of people who manipulate flames, stand fiercely amidst the brightly colored flames and fight to save the lives of the people. The film is filled with battle scenes in which the two stand fiercely amidst brightly colored flames.
The power suit called "Matoitekker" that Garo wears as if he is performing a kabuki performance, and the powerful action scenes in which Rio's fiery dragon rampages through the city, create an innovative visual world that is a world apart from anything seen in Japanese animation up to now. The innovative visual world of the film is a world unlike anything seen in Japanese animation to date.
Garo, played by Matsuyama, says, "I'll erase it now! I'll extinguish the flames of your stupid ambition! The film's action is not limited to action, but also includes a glimpse of passionate drama, and expectations are high for what will happen in the world under fire and how the film will unfold on an epic scale.
Combined with Superfly's music, "Promea" will "awaken" a new era in Japan, and the film version of the anime "Promea" is sure to be one to watch out for.
I created this song because I wanted to provide a song that would push the visuals forward, as it will be played during the battle scenes in the movie.
I felt that the movie itself is a humanistic work, not just a battle incitement, so I imagined a battle that is not to hurt people, but to protect someone.
The theme of the song is "meditation," and in the chorus, meaningless words are chanted like incantations.
I learned that in meditation, by chanting meaningless words over and over again, you can reach deep into your mind, and I tried to incorporate that as an idea. I think it turned out to be something new and different from Superfly's previous works, not only cool, but also interesting, like a collage of melodies.
I would be happy if you all could join me in chanting the mantra-like incantation of the chorus.
I hope you will join me in chanting the mantra of the chorus.

Garo, a rookie member of the Burning Rescue, a highly mobile firefighting team for the Varnish, and Rio, the leader of the Mad Varnish, are both possessed by the burning spirit of firefighters. Their passionate souls collide, and the outcome of their battle is...
