A new combat mode, "Gift from Hell," is now available in "Red Dead Online!

Rockstar Games has added a new combat mode, "Gift from Hell," to the "Red Dead Online" online mode (currently in beta testing) of its "Red Dead Redemption 2" software for PS4/Xbox One.

Red Dead Redemption 2" is the sequel title to "Red Dead Redemption," an open-world action adventure set in frontier America. Players take on the role of Arthur Morgan, a member of the Dutch gang, and must survive in a world of outlaws.

The game takes place in the United States in 1899, as the pioneer era is coming to an end. Arthur Morgan and the Dutch Gang are forced to flee after a major robbery gone wrong in the western town of Blackwater. Pursued by federal agents and bounty hunters from all over the country, the gang's only way to survive is to rob, violate, and steal in the wilds of America, but the more involved they get in the struggle, the more they are in danger of being torn apart. Arthur is forced to choose between his ideals and his loyalty to the gang that raised him.

The beta test of the game's online mode, "Red Dead Online," is now underway, and information about the new battle mode, "Gift from Hell," has arrived.

Destroy enemy bases at all costs in "Gift from Hell," the latest combat mode added to the "Red Dead Online" beta. All players carry packages filled with explosives to the opposing team's base, and for each package successfully carried, the enemy base will be slightly detonated. Victory is achieved when all packages are delivered and the opponent's base is completely destroyed.

The featured bonus for the duration is a 30% XP boost on all ability cards. Deadeye and Passive Ability Cards - Deadeye ability cards generate a special advantage while using Deadeye, while passive ability cards generate unique combat, recovery, and defense advantages. Each card can be raised to level 3. Be the first to level up and upgrade your card with the XP bonus during the period to get an improved version of that ability. Use them in battle to deliver packages of explosives to the enemy base. You can find recommended ability cards (and other general combat tips) here.
