Use the vacuum cleaner to suck up the ghosts and conquer the Obake Hotel! Switch "Luigi's Mansion 3" launches on October 31!

Nintendo will release the action-adventure game "Luigi's Mansion 3" for Nintendo Switch on October 31, 2019.

The action adventure follows Luigi's adventures through the Obake Hotel in search of the missing Mario and his friends, with the Obake Vacuum, a vacuum cleaner that can suck up obake monsters.

The Obake Hotel, the setting for this year's game, is lined with dimly lit guest rooms, with a variety of stages ranging from a floor overgrown with giant plants to a castle-like floor. Each floor is also littered with unique boss monsters, who will block Luigi's way.

The new actions are also more powerful, including "Burst," which blasts air at the Obake to blow them away, "Slam," which slams the sucked Obake to the floor to damage them, and "Cuban Shot," which sticks to furniture and doors and pulls on them to destroy them.

Also featured is "Gooeyge," a plump alter ego that looks just like Luigi. He can be switched between Luigi and Gooey. The game allows players to play through iron bars that Luigi cannot advance through, or join forces to destroy giant watermelons.

The game also features a cooperative multiplayer mode. Up to eight players can play together, and the aim is to reach the top of the tower by defeating all the ghosts within the time limit, finding the lost Pinocchio, and taking on various other challenges.
