On March 30, 2019, at Stellar Ball in Shinagawa, Tokyo, Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Club held a talk & live event "Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Club In-school Matching Festival" was held at Stellar Ball in Shinagawa, Tokyo, marking the first time since the "ODAIBA TOKIMEKI Stage" in November 2018 that all nine Nijigaku cast members gathered for a talk and live event, and the venue was packed with fans.

The event featured a live performance by the nine Nijigaku members of "Love Live! Nijigaku School Idol Club: School Matching Festival, here we go~! The event started with a shadow narration by the nine members of Nijigaku. On stage, nine students in school uniforms, including Akuri Onishi (played by Ayumu Uehara), Mayu Sagara (played by Kasumi Nakasu), Kaori Maeda (played by Shizuku Sakurazaka), Miyu Kubota (played by Karin Asaka), Natsumi Murakami (played by Ai Miyashita), Akari Kito (played by Kanata Omi), Tomori Kusunoki (played by Setsuna Yuki), Maria Sashiide (played by Emma Verde) and Chiemi Tanaka (played by Rina Tennoji) The nine members were all dressed in their school uniforms. The opening of the evening performance was a "What did you eat after the lunchtime performance? and asked the audience, "Where are you from? (A fan from Taiwan even came to the show!). (A fan from Taiwan also attended!) The beginning of the show was relaxed and relaxed.

After that, they wanted to call and respond to the fans in the audience, so they introduced themselves and performed their original call and response. After explaining their own call and response, they enjoyed the unique call and response with the audience. The audience was especially excited when Tanaka appeared with a realistic "Rina-chan board" covering his face. His expression changed as he introduced himself and the audience responded.

On this day, the results of the Nijigaku unit matching voting preliminary contest, which had been held since February, were announced. Voting has already begun for the final round of voting for the top nine groups that received votes in the preliminary contest, and will be held until April 15 at 17:00. The 2-, 3-, and 4-member groups that receive the most votes will become the official Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Club units, so be sure to cast your votes while watching the results of the preliminary contest.

After this, messages of support from fans were read out, and the talk part came to an end. Next came the live performance part, which we had been waiting for. Each member of Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Club is active as a solo member. The nine members' individuality stood out in the live performance. Although there was a slight dispute over the order in which the girls were to perform during the intermission, the issue was resolved by a drawing of lots. But the issue was resolved by drawing lots. The top performer was Sagara who started with "Diamond". Dressed in fluffy yellow costumes instead of their school uniforms, they danced and sang in a cute and innocent manner. The most remarkable part of the live was the image of Kasumi projected on the screen behind the stage. This is "Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS". Speaking of "Love Live! is the synchronization of the cast on stage and the images on the screen. The call and response of "L.O.V.E., Kasumi! The final part of the show, "L.O.V.E. Kasumin!" was a perfect call and response, and at the end of the show, they passed the baton to the next member, who ran around the stage in high spirits.

Next was "Doki Pipo☆Emotion" by Tanaka. The costumes were based on the motif of sailor uniforms, and the choreography was cute and animal-like to the impressive electronic sounds, matching Rina's worldview.

After a series of upper-class songs, Maeda, dressed in a neat white dress, performed "Your Ideal Heroine. The ballad-like song was performed in a relaxed, contemporary dance style, which was very impressive. Even when she was not singing, she was acting with her facial expressions, which is typical of Shizuku, who is also a member of the drama club.

Next was "Evergreen" by Sashide, who was dressed in a costume reminiscent of the tracht, the traditional costume of Emma's hometown in Switzerland. Her big dance moves and innocent singing to the earthy sound created a majestic mood. The audience was also waving penlights to such sound and clapping their hands throughout the show.

After Sashide left the stage, a bed was brought in on the darkened stage, causing a slight buzz in the audience, and Kito appeared to start the song "I want to go to the Sleeping Forest. Kito, dressed in a one-piece baby-doll outfit, looked sleepy from beginning to end, occasionally sitting on the bed, and finally saying "Good night" and falling asleep.

The live part was the second half of the show. Kubota appeared next in a sexy outfit and performed the dance number "Starlight". Both the track and the dance were so sharp that the audience was overwhelmed from beginning to end. The dance performance during the instrumental part of the song was one of the highlights of the show, and it showed that Nijigaku is a talented group among the fresh Nijigaku members.

Next was Kusunoki's "CHASE! The asymmetrical costume with checkered patterns also moved well as the dancers performed intense choreographies to the royal rock sound. The singer's performance was also very straight and passionate, including the shouts towards the end of the song, which made the audience feel that they had given their all.

Murakami leaped onto the stage to the EDM sound, signaling the start of "Meccha Going! was the signal for the start of the "Meccha Going! The song was a dance track with comical lyrics mixed with puns. The audience seemed to be enjoying the performance together, clapping and singing along with the energetic singing and dancing.

The last song of the live part was "Yume e no Ippo" by Onishi. The song was a royal idol song in a traditional costume with a check design. They danced and sang the song with all their might, and even choked up during the song, but they showed their full effort to the end to the cheers of the audience.

After the live performance, the cast of Nijigaku gathered on stage again. The nine members were in their school uniforms at the opening, but when they lined up in their different costumes, their individual personalities stood out. They each introduced their costumes and talked about their impressions of the live performance. During the live, the jacket photo and details of the first production bonus of the drama CD to be released on May 22 were announced, and the first video work of Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Club "Love Live! School Idol Club Memorial Disc ~BloomingRainbow~ will be released on August 21, and Nijigaku's activities will continue to expand in 2019.

Finally, the cast members gave their impressions of the day one by one. All said they had a great time, but some said they felt frustrated that they still had a long way to go. On the other hand, all the Nijigaku members felt a strong bond with each other and with the fans. Less than two years after the start of the show, this day on stage was going to be a big step forward for the girls.

The final song of the night was "TOKIMEKI Runners" performed by all nine members. The live event came to an end to thunderous applause.
