PS4 "Ryu ga Gotoku 7: Whereabouts of Light and Darkness," new element "Kizuna" and play spots!

Sega Games, Inc. has unveiled a new element, "Kizuna" (bond), in "Yakuza7: Whereabouts of Light and Darkness" ("Yakuza7"), scheduled for release on January 16, 2020 (Thursday), exclusively for PlayStation 4.

Yakuza7" is the latest in the "Yakuza" series, a dramatic RPG in which the main character, Kasuga Ichiban, and his friends rise to power in the new "Isesaki Ijinmachi, Yokohama," and experience the passionate human drama of how they crush a great evil. The game features a stage of unprecedented scale and "Live Command RPG Battle," a fusion of the fight action cultivated in the "Yakuza" series and the RPG command selection system, and is the largest and most innovative evolution in the series.

■What is the new element "Kizuna"?
The new "kizuna" element revealed this time is an element that expresses the depth of the relationship between Kasuga and his friends. The player can deepen the bond by fighting, eating, and playing in play spots together with his/her friends. As the bond deepens, the abilities of the companions grow, such as the number of jobs they can change, the techniques they can use, and the fact that they will take the initiative in following up on Kasuga's attacks.
