The near-future survival story "7SEEDS", which has sold over 6 million copies in total, will produce its second season! In addition, the first TV broadcast of the first season will begin in January 2020!

The anime work "7SEEDS" is being distributed exclusively worldwide on NETFLIX from June 2019. The production of its second season has recently been decided. It has also been decided that the first season will begin airing on TV in January 2020.

7SEEDS" is based on the manga of the same title by Yumi Tamura, which was serialized in Shogakukan's "flowers flower comics alpha. It is a blockbuster survival work that has sold a total of more than 6 million copies (including digital editions) in volumes 1-35 (plus one extra volume). The long-awaited second season will be distributed in 2020. The first season will be broadcast on TV from January 2020. The broadcasting station has not yet been determined.

In conjunction with the decision to produce the second season, a second key visual depicting the spring team, fall team, and winter team has been released. The visuals are full of hope as they move forward into the future.

Story
When the young girl Natsu wakes up, she finds herself in the ocean. She is suddenly thrown into the raging sea and arrives at an island with Arashi, Cicadamaru, and Botan. The island was an untamed jungle. She is attacked one after another by giant plants, ferocious animals, and insects, and thrown into a life of survival where she faces death.

Then, a man claiming to be their guide tells them of an unbelievable plan to avert the extinction of the human race. It was the "7SEEDS Project," a grand plan to freeze young, healthy people and preserve them in a world after the disaster has passed in order to avoid the extinction of the human race.

The girls were shocked to learn for the first time that they were the chosen ones for the project. The young people selected for the "7SEEDS Project" live their lives in a changed world under harsh conditions, but they do their best to survive.
