The opening round of the e-sports pro league "RAGE Shadowverse Pro League" will be broadcast on November 2 on Tele!

RAGE, one of the largest e-sports brands in Japan, co-hosted by CyberZ, Avex Entertainment, Inc. and TV Asahi, Inc. will broadcast the opening round of the e-sports professional league "RAGE Shadowverse Pro League" on Saturday, November 2, 2019, on The event will be broadcast on TV Asahi's terrestrial network.

RAGE" is the generic name for e-sports events and e-sports leagues that combine next-generation sports competition "e-sports" with a variety of entertainment elements. RAGE is operated in cooperation with CyberZ, Avex Entertainment, and TV Asahi.


Currently, the project consists of public-participation "events" held mainly offline and "pro leagues," which are spectator-type events where professional players compete online.


In the "Event" project, game titles spanning multiple genres will be brought together in an e-sports tournament to determine the strongest champion of each title. In addition, there were also venue-only tournaments, test-play sessions of new titles, and live artist performances. The e-sports tournaments held to date with prize money include "Winning Eleven 2017" (Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd.), "Shadowverse" (Cygames, Inc.), "Street Fighter V" (Capcom Co.), "Vainglory" (Super EVill Megacorp), for a total of four titles (in alphabetical order). The event also features "Splatoon 2" (Nintendo Co., Ltd.) and "PUBG MOBILE (PUBG)" (PUBG Co., Ltd.) as non-prize-winning tournaments.

In terms of e-sports leagues in which top players in Japan participate, the company runs leagues such as "RAGE Shadowverse Pro League" and "RAGE STREET FIGHTER V All-Star League powered by CAPCOM".

This will be the first broadcast on TV, and will feature the first season winner of the "RAGE Shadowverse Pro League 19-20" and the runner-up team, "Yoshimoto Libalent" vs.
