The latest in the series, "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045" teaser PV & teaser visual released!

The first teaser PV of "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045" and a teaser visual depicting the main character, Motoko Kusanagi, have been released.

The "Ghost in the Shell" series is set in the near future, where people's intentions are connected to their "brains" due to the development of information networks and cyborg (artificial body) technology. The Ghost in the Shell is an offensive organization led by Motoko Kusanagi, a cyborg with a prosthetic body who fights against cyber crimes.

The original comic "GHOST IN THE SHELL" by Masamune Shirow was published in 1989, and was followed by "GHOST IN THE SHELL" directed by Mamoru Oshii (1995), "GHOST IN THE SHELL S.A.C." series directed by Kenji Kamiyama (2002- ), and "GHOST IN THE SHELL S.A.C." series directed by Kazuya Kise. ～), the "Ghost in the Shell ARISE" series (2013~) directed by Kazuya Kise, and the Hollywood live-action film adaptation of "Ghost in the Shell" (2017) directed by Rupert Sanders.

And in 2020. The latest animation series, "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045," presents a new vision of the future. Following "ULTRAMAN," "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045," the first full 3DCG animation in the history of "Ghost in the Shell," will be created by Kenji Kamiyama, who created the "Ghost in the Shell S.A.C." series, and Shinji Aramaki, who created the "APPLESEED" series.

The film will feature unprecedented cyberpunk action and a completely new story of Motoko Kusanagi and her friends through the use of motion capture technology that reflects the actors' performances to the characters and the photorealistic visuals of 3DCG. Production is by Production I.G × SOLA DIGITAL ARTS.

It will be distributed exclusively worldwide on Netflix in the spring of 2020.
