Borderlands 10th Anniversary Event "Week 4: Hyahaha on Twitch! is now underway! The latest trailer is also available!

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the "Borderlands" series, "Week 4: Hyahaha on Twitch!" began on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. In addition, on Friday, October 25, the "Bloody Harvest Festival," a free, limited-time, hair-raising event, will begin just in time for the Halloween season. New items, thrilling boss battles, and other playable elements abound.

The first title in the Borderlands series was released in 2009, and its unique "shooting RPG" style, a fusion of RPG and FPS, proved popular, with the sequel, "Borderlands 2," selling more than 18 million copies.

The latest title, "Borderlands 3," will be released on September 13, 2019. Borderlands 3 continues the shooting RPG at the heart of Borderlands. Players choose one of four "Volt Hunters" to search for treasure and set off on a journey across a vast galaxy, including the planet Pandora, the setting of previous titles. The number of guns in the first game was said to be more than 16 million, but in this game, the number has increased to several hundred million, and many new actions and other elements have been added.

■10th Anniversary Event "Week 4: Hyahaha on Twitch!

The "Bloody Harvest Festival" on October 25, 2019 is coming up tomorrow, and it's your chance to get double bonuses on "Borderlands 3". This week's event, "Twitch for the Big Hyah!" features more Mayhem Mode and the "Borderlands 3" ECHOcast Twitch expansion. Players and viewers alike will be able to get rewards.

During the event, the drop probability of the "Consecrated" item will be increased when Mayhem Mode is activated. The XP gained from defeating enemies will also increase, and the various negative correction values in Mayhem Mode will be smaller than usual.

ECHOcast enhancements are also not to be missed: the frequency of Badass Viewer events will increase (the change is indefinite), the voting period will be accelerated during events, and viewer-controlled Badasses will become even more formidable. In addition, this week, the chance to win a rare treasure chest event will increase from the usual 25% to 100%.

Note that Mayhem Mode can only be activated after completing the main "Borderlands 3" story campaign (which enables the special console in Sanctuary III to be operated). In contrast, the ECHOcast rewards are particularly attractive in that they can be obtained without any difficulty. All you need is a SHiFT and Twitch account. Even if you have not yet purchased "Borderlands 3," you can still participate in the event. Rewards earned in the Rare Treasure Chest event will be stored in the in-game mailbox and can be used as soon as the player starts playing "Borderlands 3".

The event features chilling new cursed enemies, a "fear" system, Legendary weapons, and a boss battle with Captain Horned. Also, if you successfully complete the challenges during the event period, you will be rewarded with gorgeous accessories such as skins for Volt Hunters and weapon accessories.
