Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection", which was released on February 9 (Sat.) and is currently showing in a long run as a blockbuster hit, grossing over 1 billion yen at the box office, held a stage greeting at Shinjuku Waldo on April 13 (Sat.) in commemoration of the 1 billion yen mark.

Mr. Fukuyama, who took the stage following the first-day-of-release stage greeting and the big hit thank-you stage greeting held in March, said, "I'm being sandwiched by Taniguchi! When Mr. Fukuyama mentioned the order of the MC, Mr. Kojiro Taniguchi of Sunrise and Director Goro Taniguchi on the left and right, Yukana immediately interjected, "If it were Othello, everyone would be Taniguchi," and the event started in a friendly atmosphere.

The event began in a relaxed atmosphere. Fukuyama expressed his joy at being able to greet the audience again. Yukana-san then greeted the audience by saying, "My name is Taniguchi, and I play the role of C.C.," and thanked the fans for their continued support of the film, which has allowed her to have this opportunity to interact with them.

Ms. Koshimizu, on the other hand, said, "My name is Taniguchi, and I play the role of Karen Kohzuki! I thought it would be the last time I would be able to attend the event after the last thank-you speech, but I was thinking 'I don't have a red costume anymore...' when I received this dress from Ms. Taniguchi (Yukana-san), who was standing next to me. The audience was surprised and laughed when she revealed that the one-piece dress in red, Karen Benizuki's image color, had actually come from Ms. Yukana.

The audience laughed as everyone introduced themselves by saying "I'm Taniguchi," to which Director Taniguchi replied, "If I introduce myself, I'll be the story! He then summed up everyone's greetings by saying, "I am happy to be able to talk to you like this because everything has gone so well.

When asked by the MC for his honest impression of the fact that the box-office figure exceeded 1 billion yen as of March 24, Director Taniguchi replied, "I think it is the accumulation of support from many people. (We were told that the box-office revenue of 1 billion yen was the target, but we didn't know if we could actually reach that level or not. He put a lot of effort into expressing his gratitude for the fact that the result of this commemorative stage greeting was the accumulation of support from each and every one of his fans. In response, Mr. Fukuyama asked the audience, "If you were exposed to Code Geass for the first time at the screening before this stage greeting..." A few hands went up and he replied, "Of course you were here! Welcome! Nam Jara Latak!" and he welcomed them with words of welcome and a greeting from the Kingdom of Gilkstan, which appeared in the film. The director then asked, "If this is the first time you have seen 'Lelouch of the Resurrection,'" to which several hands went up, and the director couldn't help but say, "Thank you very much! The director couldn't help but say, "Thank you very much! Fukuyama expressed his joy at the fact that the number of new fans continues to grow.

In response to a question about changes in the relationships between the characters after "R2," Fukuyama said, "In the TV series, when they were students, they had life-size feelings, but they were somewhat fake, and people did not trust them even if they were telling the truth. However, I was able to play the role of Lelouch at this time, who is in a very plain state, so to speak, and not carrying anything on his back. I think it was very special to be able to play Lelouch in "Lelouch of the Resurrection" because he showed a surprisingly honest humanity.

Director Taniguchi commented on the "plainness" of Lelouch, saying, "In 'Lelouch of the Resurrection,' I included such descriptions here and there. In the scene where Karen suddenly hugs Lelouch, Lelouch is very confused and says to her, "Thank God! Lelouch is very confused and looks at Sakuyoko who speaks to him as if to say, 'Thank God! In addition, regarding her relationship with C.C., "In the TV series, there was a wall because of the need to protect Nanny," said Taniguchi, to which Yukana also replied that the relationship between the two had changed the most. Mr. Fukuyama commented, "The way C.C. was portrayed in the theater trilogy changed as a milestone for 'Lelouch of the Resurrection. I had to show a new side of C.C., so I said, in my own way, 'You took a slice of the action,' so that only Yukana-san would understand. Director Taniguchi also said, "I was very worried about whether to make C.C. eat pizza or not, because for C.C., pizza is something that expresses her own free-spirited behavior and selfishness, and I couldn't include that in this film. We could have had something like Lelouch and C.C. eating pizza together after the end of the movie..." Some behind-the-scenes stories about the production of the film were also revealed, and Mr. Koshimizu commented, "If there was a chance to have pizza, it would be in the scene where they say goodbye and I said, 'You like pizza, don't you? You like pizza, don't you? How about Karen handing it to you?

Takahiro Sakurai, who was not able to attend today's greeting, commented, "If this becomes such a big hit, it will be the next big thing.
If it becomes such a hit, I'm sure they are planning the next development! Right, Mr. Taniguchi? I don't know when it will be, but I am sure that the day will come when this project will be set in motion again. And it is you, of all people, who started this project. Thank you so much." And "I hope we can have a "drink and talk" kind of event someday. Thank you very much. Director Taniguchi concluded his speech by saying, "I feel that when people accumulate so many thoughts and words, words are lost and become simpler. Karen has always lived her life for someone else, whether it be her brother or her mother, but now she can finally live her life the way she chooses to live it. Yukana expressed her gratitude to the members who stand on stage with her and the fans who have supported her so far for turning the tension of appearing in front of others into great happiness, and said, "I don't know how long it will last, but thank you for your support in the future. Please go forward with us and I would like to see what the future holds." Mr. Fukuyama concluded his speech by saying, "In the film, Lelouch kept saying 'for tomorrow'. We don't know about tomorrow or the future. Director Taniguchi has shown his readiness to accept various reactions and criticisms, and we, too, have poured our passion into this work so that it will be a step toward new thoughts for each person who has waited for this work and for each newcomer to the work. Lelouch said "tomorrow" in "Zero Requiem," and we believe that this work has given us that tomorrow. I would like to continue to work with you and with this work in pursuit of a new tomorrow. Thank you very much for your kind attention today.
