Yajukame-chan Kansatsu Nikki" is a four-frame manga full of Nagoya love by Masamoto Ando, who was born in Aichi Prefecture and is currently serialized in "Monthly ComicREX" (published by Ichijinsha) and on Twitter. The original is a very popular local comedy about observing the cute Yajukame-chan and improving the status of Nagoya, and will be broadcast on TOKYO MX as well as on local TV Aichi.

The "TV anime "Yajukame-chan Kansatsu Nikki" Advance Screening & Haruka Tomatsu Talk Show" was held at Higashibetsuin Hall on March 30, just prior to the broadcast, and featured Haruka Tomatsu, who plays the heroine Yajukame Saichu; Masamoto Ando, the author of the original work; Adachi, the editor in charge; the Aichi Prefecture girl unit TEAM SHACHI, and Ookii Yajukame-chan, a girl unit from Aichi Prefecture that serves as a publicity ambassador for the work, took the stage. Approximately 700 people came to the event, which was held in two interchangeable day/night sessions, making it a lively event.

The event started with a segment by PR ambassadors TEAM SHACHI and OHJUKAME-chan reviewing "Yajukame-chan Kansatsu Nikki".
One of the most popular slides showed that sales of "Yajukame-chan Kansatsu Nikki" were overwhelmingly higher in Nagoya than in other areas of Japan. The audience voiced their surprise at the figure of over 60% of total sales.
Then, while reviewing the airing time, it was announced that the airing time was irregular, with three episodes changing after the first and second episodes. During the screening, it was interesting to see all the people in the audience buzzing around.
I thought the accent was really funny when I saw the anime! I thought.
My usual job doesn't allow me to have an accent, so it opened up a new door in my life as a voice actor. When I do other jobs and my accent comes out a little bit, people ask me, "Did you go back to your parents' house? But in "Yajukame-chan kansatsu nikki," I can act as if I had returned to my parents' home.
He happily talked about the different recording process from his usual work.

I am the type of artist who doesn't have an image of the character. From the moment I heard Tomatsu-san's first voice, I thought, 'Oh, it's Yajukame-chan! It's Yajukame-chan! I thought, 'Oh, it's Yajukame-chan! I went to the recording studio with the intention of being tough on her because she is the original author (laughs)."

"I wondered what to do with the music. It is more difficult than the manga! It took a whole month of meetings at Ichijinsha and phone calls.

"I had the teacher come from Aichi to Ichijinsha in Tokyo to write the lyrics, and we wrote them out on a big whiteboard... but we ended up not making any progress that day. I want people to not only hear the words, but also see them in writing.
Mr. Tomatsu
The lyrics are something that no one outside of Aichi could have written. Impressive! I want you to listen to it in full because it is full of Nagoya words until the very end! He commented.
