Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced that a free update for the 2019 season of "JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU 2018" for PS4/PS Vita will be available on April 23 (Tuesday).

JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU 2018" is the latest title in the "JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU" series, well-known for its authentic baseball gameplay, and features player data from the 2018 professional baseball season, which will be updated as needed throughout the season!　The new "LIVE Scenario" mode allows players to play the turning point of an actual professional baseball game from that day as a mission in the game. Furthermore, for the first time in the "Pawapuro" series, the game is compatible with PlayStation VR. The game can be enjoyed with a realistic feel as if you were inside the ballpark.

A free update that will allow players to play with the latest player data for the 2019 season will be available next Tuesday, April 23!　In addition, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU series, a new "Meisho Koshien" mode has been added, in which you become the manager of a high school in the "Success" player development mode and train your team to become the No. 1 team in the country!

When playing, you can select "2019" to play the new season, or "2018" to continue playing with last season's data.

In the "Scenario" mode, which allows players to develop their teams, players repeatedly practice and play games over the course of three years in high school to strengthen their teams as a coach. The goal is to win the Koshien championship!　You can recruit any character you like to join your team as a new student.
The team you have developed can compete against players from all over the country in the "stadium," which is a class-based competition. Win the top classes with the strongest team you have trained and aim for promotion to the next level.
Players can obtain characters and items useful for training by completing "Challenges" through "Scenarios" and "Stadiums"!
