Beginner's Guide to CoD Mobile: From the Hunted to the Hunting! Useful techniques for "CoD Mobile"! (Multiplayer Mode)

Call of Duty Mobile" ("CoD Mobile") surpassed 100 million downloads worldwide within a week of its launch on October 1, 2019. It has greatly surpassed the records set by "PUBG" and "Fortnite," and its popularity knows no bounds. However, FPS is mainly played against other players, and it is a world of meritocracy. Many people are not as active as they would like to be, and many do not last long. We have introduced some techniques that are useful in the multiplayer mode of this game. We hope you will find them useful.

Shoot from the hip for close combat, and Aim for medium to long range.

There are two control systems in this title, "Simple Mode" and "Advanced Mode". Just aim at your opponent and the gun will fire on its own. However, in the "Koshidame-shot" mode, in which the player does not hold the gun, bullets fly toward the four lines (called crosshairs) extending from the center of the screen, making it more difficult to hit the target the farther away the target is. In close combat, however, it is impossible to win in a medium- to long-range shootout.

Tap the icon with a crosshair in a circle on the right side of the screen to aim the weapon at the enemy, commonly known as "aim. You can now look through the sights of the gun and shoot, the bullets do not scatter, and the hit rate is very high. Remember to shoot from the hip in close combat, and to aim and fire in other situations. It is important to choose the right weapon depending on the distance from the opponent.

Move by looking at the mini-map

Move by looking at the mini-map

Beginners are more likely to move hastily, trying to "beat the enemy" or "win the match," and end up getting knocked down. Before you do anything, look at the mini-map displayed in the upper right corner of the screen. The mini-map shows where you are, the surrounding terrain, and the current location of your allies (blue icons). It also shows, for a brief moment, where your opponent has fired (red icon).

For example, if the red icon does not appear near an ally on the right side of the map, it means that there was no firefight = at least there are no enemies there now. Then the opponent would be considered to be in the center or on the left side of the map. If you have an idea of the location in advance, you can prepare to shoot.

Also, one of the "score streaks" (a reward for earning a certain number of points without being knocked down) can be used to display the enemy's location on a mini-map for a certain period of time by using a UAV. This is a great aid in anticipation and ambush. The minimap is packed with information, so try to be aware of it during the match.

Check for aircraft.

Some types of score streaks, such as UAVs, "counter UAVs" that temporarily disable the opponent's minimap, and "stealth helicopters" that attack the enemy from the sky, fly over the map. These are troublesome if used by the opponent, but an announcement is made when they appear, and they can be destroyed by using "anti-aircraft missile turrets," which are also part of the score streak, or launcher-type "SMRS" or "FHJ-18s.

Dealing with aircraft is important in the match. If you leave your opponent's streak system unchecked, you will naturally be at a disadvantage and your morale will drop. All you have to do is pay attention to the movement of the sky, but many people don't do this because it is too much trouble. If you think someone else will do it, eventually no one will, and you will lose a ragged game. Such things often happen in "CoD.

You should be willing to destroy aircraft because it will not only save you and your allies, but also lead to score and get streak rewards.

Move while shooting.

This is a slightly more difficult technique. This is to move left and right while shooting the opponent. This technique has the effect of reducing the rate of fire. If there is a shield nearby, it is possible to take cover. Since the player shoots and moves at the same time, it tends to be confusing at first. It is a good idea to practice with "Practice vs.

Hearing Footsteps

Even if you don't see enemy icons on the minimap, there are ways to locate them. One of them is to listen for footsteps. If an enemy is moving near you, you can hear his footsteps. Compared to other "CoD" games, the footsteps in this game are much louder, so you don't need earphones or headphones to hear them. When you hear the sound, look around to see if there are any enemies.

Also, if you are using a gun with the "suppressor" attachment, your position will not be displayed on the mini-map when you fire, so footsteps are even more important.

That's all for the techniques that can be used in the multiplayer mode. In the next issue, we will report on the battle royale mode.
