PS4/Switch/PC "Team Sonic Racing" releases its sixth installment of game information!

Sega Games has released the sixth installment of game information for "Team Sonic Racing" for PS4/Switch/PC (Steam), scheduled for release on May 21 (Tuesday).

Team Sonic Racing" is the first car racing title in the "Sonic" series that allows players to enjoy ultra-high-speed racing with or without a team of three. Players can select different types of characters and freely customize their racing cars with a variety of parts. The "Wisp" is an item that appears in this title, and information on the new "Sky Road" course has just arrived.

There are 14 types in total! Let's take a look at the "wisp" item!
Wisps" are space creatures that live on the planet "Planet Wisp. Each type has a different appearance, and each has its own unique abilities.
Sonic and his friends will randomly obtain "wisps" from the item box, and their power will enable them to perform actions during the race.

1. Orange Rocket
A streamlined wisp.
When fired, they fly in a straight trajectory, bouncing off walls and other obstacles as they fly. It can also destroy obstacles.

2. Crimson Eagle
The Crimson Eagle is a wisp that tracks its prey like a bird of prey.
It turns into a homing missile and charges toward the nearest enemy racer in front of it.

3. blue cube
A square-shaped wisp that looks like a dice.
When placed, it becomes a giant obstacle that spins enemy racers upon impact.

Black Bomb
A wisp that generates an explosion that engulfs the surrounding area.
There is a time delay between impact and explosion, so it requires some skill to use.

5. White Boost
A wisp that can trigger a boost dash, similar to a boost panel, at any time.
It can be the catalyst for a turnaround!

6. Red Burst
This wisp creates a path of flame from the rear wheels of a racing car to attack the car behind.
Activated on narrow roads, it can block the path of surrounding racers.

7. Violet Void
This wisp twists the space around the racing car, automatically attracting nearby rings and item boxes.
It can also absorb wisp attacks launched at it.

8. Ivory Lightning
A wisp with super-powerful performance that delivers an unavoidable lightning strike to all enemy racers ranked higher than you.

Cyan Laser
A wisp that can fire a laser from the front of a racing car, causing enemy cars to spin.

10. Jade Ghost
A wisp that, when activated, causes the character to become translucent and not slow down on the floor, slipping through obstacles and enemy racers or slowing down.
At the end of the effect, it also takes away wisps held by enemy racers in the vicinity!

11. Yellow Drill
This wisp transforms itself into a giant drill, making it invincible and capable of pushing forward at breakneck speed.
When activated, it becomes an automatic driver, spinning the enemy and allowing the driver to quickly break into the lead group.

12. pink spikes
This wisp generates a spiked ball around the racing car.
Enemy racers who touch the ball will be spiked and spin.

13. Gray Quake
This wisp generates countless stone pillars in front of the leading group of racers.
Unless you are invincible, it is extremely difficult to avoid the stone pillars, and if activated, they can quickly change the pace of the race.

14. magenta rhythm
This wisp can generate a large number of musical notes in front of enemy racers to take away their vision.
It is more effective when triggered in narrow areas or places with many holes.

■"Sky Road" is a new course!
A semi-transparent road winds its way through the clouds, creating an exhilarating experience as if you were in a dead heat in mid-air. In the latter half of the course, there is a steep slope that descends like a straight descent, and pitfalls lurking in the translucent paths, so caution is required. A balloon floating in the air is also part of the course, and you can use the balloon to make big jumps! Even if you think you have gone off course, you may find an unexpected shortcut by using the balloon.
