Part 8: Super Miniplat DANCOUGA (Part 1)

Originally, we were going to deal with Shokugan in a separate series, "Ichi-Oshi: Shokugan-do! Shokugan Road," but this time I was forced to take charge of the "DANKUGA," so I'm Yasuyuki Tai.

That's right!

I am the voice actor of Johnny Burnett, the pilot of the Nova Elephant that appears in "Jyuusou Kisou Dancouga Nova"!

Dancuga Nova" is a robot anime that began airing in 1985. The main character, Shinobu Fujiwara's famous line "I'll do it! has now become a standard line among robot anime fans, and even became a signature line for the subsequent character voiced by Kazuki Yao.

The story is quite hard, starting from the situation where the earth has already been destroyed by the invader from outer space, the "Muge Zorbatos Empire". Looking at the characters, there are many attractive characters other than the main characters (such as Gerard), and the popularity of these characters encouraged the series to continue with OVAs after the TV series ended.

As for the main character, DANCOUGA, at the time, there were many versions of DANCOUGA, including the DX Chogokin "Choju Gosei DANCOUGA (spelled DANCOUGAR for some reason)" that could transform and combine as set up, standard Chogokin, the Victrola version (Note: "Victrola" later merged with Bandai's Boys' Toys business, and the Popy sub-brand, a Group company, was also created, (*Note: "Victrola" was a sub-brand of Popy, a group company that later merged with Bandai's Boys' Toy business). After the robot entered the Super Nintendo game "The 4th Super Robot Taisen" released in 1995, it enjoyed a resurgence of popularity and was made available in a variety of three-dimensional forms. Personally, I continue to search for a "Victrola version Dancuga.

So here it is! This time, we will be presenting a record number of images in two parts, one before and the other after the war!
