Cat's Eye," which has been the talk of the town since its appearance in the film version of "City Hunter: Shinjuku Private Eyes," makes its grand entrance as a BD-BOX!

The first season (36 episodes) and second season (37 episodes) of the TV anime "Cat's Eye," which was broadcast from 1983 to 1985, will be released in a Blu-ray box set in two volumes.

Cat's Eye" is Tsukasa Hojo's first serial work. It is a TV animation based on the love comedy manga in which three beautiful sisters, Tapiwa, Hitomi, and Ai, play darkly as the thief "Cat's Eye". It was a big hit for its brilliant stealing skills and the thrilling romance between the second sister, Hitomi, and detective Utsumi, and the TV anime was broadcast from 1983 to 1985.

It has appeared in the film version "City Hunter <Shinjuku Private Eyes>" released in 2019 and has become a hot topic.

The Blu-ray box containing all 36 episodes of the 1st season and all 37 episodes of the 2nd season of the TV anime "Cat's Eye" will be released as a box containing the upper and lower volumes (2 Blu-ray discs in each volume).


The box set will be digitally remastered from the original masters in "High Rate SD (480i)" quality, and each disc will contain approximately 7 hours of full-length episodes.

<Synopsis

Famous art galleries and museums receive a challenge letter from the mysterious "Cat's Eye," a group of three thieves who specialize in masterpieces.
Detective Toshio, who has been successfully outsmarted once again, is complaining at "Cat's Eye," a coffee shop run by his girlfriend Hitomi, her sister Tearaway, and her sister Ai.
Unbeknownst to him, however, these pupils are the true identity of the thief, and their purpose is to recover the scattered posthumous works of their father, Heinz, a world-famous painter, and also to solve the mystery surrounding his death.
