Maaya Sakamoto's new album "Music for Today Only," her tenth in four years, will be released on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. A short movie of the album was released on October 28, 2019. Maaya Sakamoto
Born in Tokyo, Maaya Sakamoto has been active as a child actress since the age of 8. Since her CD debut in 1996 with the single "Yakusoku ha Naiwa", she has released numerous albums, including the 2011 album "You can't catch me", which reached No. 1 on the Oricon Ranking. In March 2013, he released his first album "Singer-Songwriter," for which he wrote all the lyrics.

In April 2015, she held her 20th anniversary live performance at Saitama Super Arena.

In March 2018, she held a live tour including performances in Taipei and Hong Kong.In July 2018, she released "Gyakkou," the theme song single for the second part of the smartphone game "Fate/Grand Oder," which reached No. 4 on Oricon.
