<About the "size" of the theater version.

Although today's screening is not yet large enough to be called a big screen, I am always conscious of the sense of distance that the images move, even when I am cutting the storyboards. Naturally, we are not thinking of a small screen like a smartphone, but of a large screen. And because of this sense of distance, we have always had the feeling that we don't want people to watch TVs smaller than 13 inches, and we want them to be movies. So if you do it at least as large as today's size, it will look roughly as we had initially planned.

<About the main character, Berri.
It's been a long time since I saw the film today, and there were some things that I hadn't planned for myself, and I realized how serious a character Berli is. In other words, the visual problems were mostly as planned, but it was much more difficult to create the character. I was surprised to see the relationship between mother and child in that sense in the scale of this film.

I was surprised to see the relationship between mother and child in that sense in the length of the film. But in this film version, I trimmed the length of that part, but I still think that the fact that you can see those moments is probably due to the power of the actors. Conversely, the director benefits from such moments. When I was working on the TV version, I looked at the finished product and thought, "Oh, this is not a finished product yet, so I want to rework it. When I reworked those parts, I could see what I needed to add.

The same goes for the actors. And not only the actors, but also the animators. The animator who is explaining this cut is also drawing the picture with this in mind. It's a joy to see that kind of thing on the big screen.

<For fathers and mothers who are Gundam fans
During the interview, a reporter asked me, "If G-RECO were not a Gundam game, is there anything you would like to say to the fathers and mothers of Gundam fans? I said, "Yes, there is. I said, "Yes, there is. That's because the fathers and mothers of Gundam fans would never understand "G-RECO" anymore, so there is no need for them to watch it.

But I just want to say something. That is, I want you to show it to your children. "Isn't this Gundam?" I want you to recommend that they watch it anyway because it is interesting.

And I told them that they should give their fathers and mothers the opportunity to find problems in "G-RECO" that they don't understand, and that they would probably groan. In that sense, I hope that if you watch the film thinking you have been tricked, you will be able to watch it through to the end, and that is what I am asking you to tell your children.

I hope that you will tell your children about that part.
