SEGA AGES Virtua Racing" on Switch will be available this Thursday, April 25!

SEGA Games announced that "SEGA AGES Virtua Racing" for Nintendo Switch will be released on Thursday, April 25.

SEGA AGES" is a brand that reissues classic SEGA titles as faithfully as possible while incorporating new additional elements not found in the original versions or previous ports, making them more comfortable and enjoyable for more users.

SEGA AGES Virtua Racing" is a racing game in which players select one of three different courses and aim for first place in a race while passing checkpoints. It is the first title to bear the "Virtua" name, and was SEGA's first full-fledged attempt at 3D. It was a huge hit, recreating the realistic world of formula cars in a video game.

The "SEGA AGES" version faithfully recreates the appeal of the arcade version for the first time, while updating the resolution and other features for the Nintendo Switch. The game also features two types of battles: online 2P battles and local battles. The local battle function allows up to 8 players to play against each other on a split screen using a single Nintendo Switch.
