PS4/Switch's "PixARK," which launches July 4, reveals survival life in the early stages of the game!

Spike Chunsoft has released an early-game survivalist lifestyle from "PixARK" (PixARK) for PS4/Switch, scheduled for release on Thursday, July 4.

PixARK" (PixARK) is an open-world dinosaur survival action game that brings the world of the hit game "ARK: Survival Evolved" to the block, which was released on PS4 in October 2017 and has shipped over 200,000 copies to date.

After waking up on a mysterious island, players can freely enjoy fighting and coexisting with dinosaurs, hunting, gathering materials, and building bases in a cute block world. In addition, the multiplayer, a major attraction of the game, can be played by up to 70 players.

The game's early stages of survival life have now been revealed, and we would like to introduce them to you.

■A survivalist lifestyle where everything is self-sufficient!
At the start of the game, players do not have any items. Without knowing why they are there, they suddenly begin a harsh survival life. The first area of grassland where players land is warmer and has more herbivorous dinosaurs, so there is relatively little danger. However, there are cliffs and large holes in some areas, and carnivorous dinosaurs may come from adjacent areas, so you must be on your guard.

Even if you have nothing, there are plenty of things you can get by examining your surroundings. Fruits and shears can be gathered from short trees, and straw can be gathered from the grass on the ground. If you nudge a tall tree, you can get wood, although it is a little painful to the hands. Using these materials, you can make basic items and buildings.

■Points for survival in the early stages of the game!
After starting the game, the first and foremost item you want to make is an axe. You can't just keep knocking down trees with your bare hands to get wood. The "nickel" for mining stones and the "bonfire" for roasting meat are also items you should get as soon as possible.


Once you are able to gather materials efficiently, the next step is to construct a simple "house. Survival will be much easier if you can prepare "storage boxes" for storing items, and "sleeping bags" and "beds" that can be used as resurrection points in case of loss of life.


Players will gain experience and level up as they continue their adventures. As they level up, their character's abilities will increase and they will also gain engram points, which can be used to craft new items.
