The demo version of "AI: Somnium File" for PS4 and Switch is available today!

Spike Chunsoft Co. will release a demo version of its September 19, 2019 PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch adventure game "AI: Somnium File" (AI: Somnium File) on October 31, 2019 on PlayStation Store and the Nintendo eShop. The demo version allows users to play the investigative and somnium parts of the game in the early stages.

AI: Somnium Files is a full-fledged adventure game in which Detective Date Key, a member of the Metropolitan Police Department's Special Unit, and Aibou, an AI-equipped prosthetic eye that normally resides inside Date's left eye, investigate a series of bizarre murders.

The game progresses in two parts: the "Investigation Part," which takes place in the real world, and the "Somnium Part," in which players invade the dream world of an important witness, and while going back and forth between the two parts, they try to get to the bottom of the case.

The demo version starts with the opening movie after the incident. Players can play the investigation part, which takes place on the merry-go-round at the crime scene, and the somnium part, in which they enter the dream world of Mizuki Okiura, a girl who is an important person of interest in the case. The demo version can be downloaded from PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop.

The demo version contains the same content as the full version, but some of the storyline has been omitted.
Please note that the demo version does not have a save function.
