The TV anime "VINLAND SAGA" will air on NHK Sogo on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 24:10. The key visual, the second PV, and additional cast members have been announced, and cast comments have arrived.

VINLAND SAGA" is a manga series by Makoto Yukimura in Kodansha's "Afternoon" that depicts the lives of the Vikings who dominated the world in the early 11th century in northern Europe and is now being made into a TV anime.
The anime will be directed by Shuhei Yuda, director of "Inuyashiki" and 3DCG director of "Shinkage no Kyojin"; series composition and script by Koji Seko, series composition and script of "BANANA FISH" and "Ajin"; character design by Takahiko Abidome, animation director of "HUNTERxHUNTER"; music by Tokyo Ghoul", Yutaka Yamada of "Tokyo Ghoul", and WIT STUDIO of "Shinkage no Kyojin" and "Mahoutsukai no Yome" will be in charge of animation production.

It has been decided that the TV anime will be broadcast on NHK Sogo from 24:10 on July 7, 2019 (Sunday), for a total of 24 episodes, over a two-cour period. In addition, a key visual, the second anime PV, and additional cast members have been announced.

The visuals are designed to show the intensity of the story, and the second anime PV shows the action scenes, one of the highlights of the series.

It was also announced that a premiere screening will be held on June 2 (Sun.) at Shinjuku Wald 9.
The event will include a talk show with director Shuhei Yuda, Shizuka Ishigami (who plays Torufin), Yusho Kamimura, and Kenichiro Matsuda (who plays Tolls). 700 people will be selected by lottery and invited to the event for free. Tickets will be available on the official website from today, so don't miss this opportunity to experience the world of the TV anime "VINLAND SAGA" firsthand!

Asheraad: Naoya Uchida
The leader of the Asheraad Corps, which consists of 100 Vikings.
He is aloof and easy-going with everyone, but in reality he is a strategist who is willing to use cruel means to achieve his goals, and his swordsmanship is first-rate. He is also a first-rate swordsman with a keen ability to see through people's true nature.
