RiEMUSiC" spreads further with orchestra! Report on the extravagant one-day Ri Murakawa Orchestra Concert "~Season of Pears~" in the afternoon!

Voice actress Rie Murakawa held her first orchestral concert "~Season of Pear~" at the Maihama Amphitheater on April 20, 2019.

The circumstances that led to this orchestra concert were discussed in a recent interview.

Shocked by the heart-stirring melody line! Interview with Rie Murakawa on the occasion of the release of "Hajimari no place," the ending theme of the anime "Piano Forest" sung by Rie Murakawa!

This orchestra concert was realized due to an enthusiastic love call from the organizer and her connection with classical music, as she has just sung the theme song for "Piano Forest (2nd season)," an anime based on classical music. The concert, which marked a new page in Murakawa's own music "RiEMUSiC," was held in the afternoon.

RiEMUSiC" reborn with a more gorgeous performance by an orchestra

The Tokyo New City Orchestra, the orchestra in charge of this year's performance, was already standing by on stage as we entered the venue before the show began. The musicians were making final adjustments to their instruments. The occasional sound of tuning must have given the audience a sense of tension that was different from that of a regular concert.

Then, Ms. Keiko Osaki, who plays the four roles of piano, arranger, music director, and conductor for this concert, appeared on stage. Rie Murakawa, dressed in a pure white costume, followed, to thunderous applause.

The concert opened with "Light Blue Fantasy. The elegant orchestral arrangement of the song was accompanied by Ms. Murakawa's voice, which was somehow more mature and quiet.

After singing the second song, "Irretrievable Journey," Ms. Murakawa was a little nervous as she spoke, but as she spoke, she seemed to relax, and her usual "Rie-shon-busi" burst out, and the concert resumed with the audience in a relaxed atmosphere. The concert resumed with "Dawn's Love". The orchestra was perfect for such a moody song.

In the following song, "Baby My First Kiss," percussion and shakers provided the rhythm, and the cheerful sound of the wind instruments spun a joyful atmosphere. The "grimoire-shaped penlights," concert goods, were all lit up at once, and not only the audience but also the string orchestra clapped their hands to the music to get the audience excited.

At this point, the band members of guitar, bass, and drums appeared on stage. From this point on, the band sound, which emphasized the beat, and the richness of the orchestra were fused together to create an extravagant stage performance.

The first song performed by this formation was the latest single "Hajimari no Place. This song was originally broadcast as the theme song for the anime "Piano Forest," and has very classical elements. The inclusion of an orchestra this time brought out the best of the song's original flavor. The stage was filled with a sense of euphoria, as if it had been created just for this concert.

The band sound and orchestra fused together!

At this point, Ms. Murakawa changed into a gothic one-color black costume. In the middle of the concert, the rock-oriented "dark side" of Rieshon's world unfolded.

With the crimson grimoire-shaped penlights illuminating the venue, they started with "Bright," which sounded like the background music for a fantasy RPG battle, followed by the dramatic and symphonic rock tunes "Glass Door" and "Requiem," which showed off Murakawa's cool side. Against the backdrop of the magnificent orchestral sound and the hard band sound, Murakawa sang majestically. Her appearance was filled with an aura that was truly worthy of being called a solitary diva.

The last song of the live was "Doki-Doki No Kaze," which soothed the heart with the gentle melody of violin and piano. Then, they performed "Sweet Sensation," a song with a gorgeous orchestral arrangement that made the audience happy. At the end, the audience joined in the performance by clapping their hands. The finale of the concert was a great success, and the audience was enveloped in a sense of unity.

The main part of the concert ended in a blink of an eye, but the never-ending calls for "Rie-shon" called for an encore.

The first encore of the daytime session was "Graceful" that was spread out. Ms. Murakawa was at her cutest as she sang the song while holding a tactic and enlivening the audience like a conductor. She sounded classy in this song. The real last song was "To the Place I Cannot Return". The live orchestra further enlivened this superb song with its slightly sad lyrics shining through the pop melody. The climax of the daytime performance was a moving stage performance that seemed to further boost the charm of the song that was already there.
