Kensho Ono's Birthday Commemoration! Results of the Hamari character popularity poll

No. 1 Kuroko no Basketball (Tetsuya Kuroko) 2905 votes
No. 2 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: The Golden Wind (Giorno Giovana): 2787 votes
No. 3 Idolish Seven (Riku Nanase) 2775 votes

No.9 TSUKIUTA. THE ANIMATION (Kanashizuki Iku) 279 votes
No.10 My roommate is on my lap, sometimes on my head. (Motoharu Tsuru) 269 votes

The total number of votes received during the one-week counting period from October 5, the day of his birthday, was 16515. The number of votes received also showed the popularity of Ms. Ono.

The four most popular characters were the top four. All of them received over 2,000 votes in a dead heat.
The top vote-getter was Tetsuya Kuroko, the main character in "Kuroko no Basketball. Mr. Ono himself says that "Kuroko" was a turning point in his life, and many of his fans probably agree. He is the undisputed No. 1 in terms of being the main character in an anime adaptation of a popular comic book, and in terms of having given anime fans a strong impression of Kensho Ono as a voice actor.
Incidentally, the original story of Kurokono Taisuke in the 8th place "Gintama" is a flower that ...... does not say.
His face has never been depicted in the play, but even so, the fact that he is ranked No. 8 shows the character's characteristically Kuroko-kun "strange presence even though he has no presence".
He is also described as "the 'fifth man' alongside the 'Four Heavenly Kings of Exclusion' (Kiseki's generation), including Gintoki Sakata, Shinsuke Takasugi, Kotaro Katsura, and Tatsuma Sakamoto.
It would be a loss to go into this one.

In second place is Giorno Giovana, the protagonist of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: The Golden Wind. His performance as the hero of the battle anime, a cool hero with a sense of justice and courage, is not a simple character, and it is still fresh in our minds that he has left a lasting impression on many anime fans.
It is interesting to note that two works from "Weekly Shonen Jump" took the top spots. This suggests that the series is popular among both men and women alike.

Third place went to Nanase Riku of "Idolish Seven. While the top two are rather quiet, this character is full of energy and boyishness. His reason for longing to be a hero is a bit heavy-handed, as he impersonates a show that his brother showed him during his long battle with illness ......, but this duality adds depth to the character. Ms. Ono's performance also seems to express Riku's inner life beautifully, and I think that's what made her so popular.
No. 9 "Tsukiyuta. THE ANIMATION" Iku Kanashizuki may be a similar character in terms of energy.

The same goes for Ryunosuke Akutagawa of "Bungo Stray Dogs" (No. 4) in terms of his duality. His characterization as a tsundere (tsundere character), who comes and goes between a ruthless side and a caring side, seems to have gained popularity.
In that sense, "Seraph of the End" No. 6 "Mikaela Momoya" was also popular for her downer face and the way she thinks about her beloved (?) Yuichiro. In this sense, the gap between Mikaela Momoya's downer face and her love for Yuichiro in "Seraph of the End" (No. 6), Neri Hakuryu's earnest personality and the pain that comes with it, and the surprisingly whiny character of Neri Hakuryu (No. 7) were popular. The same goes for Neri Hakuryu's serious personality and the pain he goes through because of it, and his unexpectedly whiny personality.

Characters who are absent-minded or a little bit out of touch with the world also seem to be popular.
The first of these is Tanaka, who comes in at No. 5 in the "Tanaka-kun is always languid" category. Tanaka-kun is always looking a little languid, or rather, he looks so languid that one wonders if he's going to be all right. No. 10 "My roommate is on my lap, sometimes on my head. Motoharu Nugi seems to have a more sophisticated lifestyle, but he is still a novelist with an air of detachment from the world. Ono's performance gives a real sense of existence to these characters, which can only be achieved with two-dimensional works. Perhaps that is another of Mr. Ono's strengths.

Finally, Happy Birthday, Kensho Ono!
