DIFFERENCE Akihabara, an order suit store, closed on Sunday, April 21, 2012. The shop is located in the east-west free aisle of JR Akihabara Station.

The DIFFERENCE store was opened on June 1, 2017 (Thursday), and closed about 1 year and 10 months later.

According to a POP in the store, "Thank you for your continued patronage. We are pleased to announce that DIFFERENCE Akihabara will be closing its doors on Sunday, April 21. We would like to express our sincere appreciation for your past support".

In the east-west free passageway of JR Akihabara Station, "Soul Nations AKIBA Showroom" and"McDonald's JR Akihabara" closed in March as well, and it seems that the tenants in the passageway are undergoing major changes in conjunction with the opening of Hotel Mets Akihabara scheduled for the fall of 2019.
