Four Roomba models are now available as Gashapon! Gashapon iRobot Roomba" released!

iRobot Japan G.K. will release Gashapon iRobot Roomba, a 1/7th scale miniature toy of the Roomba robot vacuum cleaner series, in the Gashapon capsule toy line sold by Bandai Co. starting the second week of November 2019.

This miniature toy reproduces the "Roomba" robot vacuum cleaner at approximately 50mm in length. It uses the "pull-back" method, in which the main unit is pulled backward and starts moving when the user releases their hand. The robot not only runs but also changes direction, making it appear as if Roomba is actually cleaning the house.

The first-generation "Roomba Original" released in 2002, the "Roomba Discovery" with automatic recharging function released in 2004, the "Roomba 537J" released in 2007, which was a breakthrough hit with its white design, and the "Roomba 980" released in 2015, the high-end "Roomba 980J" released in 2012. The lineup includes four of the most popular Roomba models from previous generations, including the high-end Roomba 980.
