TV Anime "Ahiru no Sora" Announces New Cast! Hidefumi Takemoto will play the role of Masayoshi Mayuki and Takehito Koyasu will play the role of Tomohisa Kurumaya!

The cast of new characters appearing in the seventh episode of the currently broadcast TV anime "Ahiru no Sora" has been announced. Masayoshi Takemoto will play the role of Masayoshi Mayuki, a teacher at Kutouryuu High School, and Takehito Koyasu will play Tomohisa Kurumaya, Sora's father.

Ahiru no Sora" is a basketball manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) by Takeshi Hyuga. It has been loved by fans for about 15 years since its serialization began, and has sold a total of more than 24 million copies. The TV anime version is directed by Keizo Kusakawa, whose works include "Kaze Natsu" and "Fleet This". Animation production will be handled by Dio Media, which also produced "BEATLESS" and "Aho Girl.

The TV anime "Ahiru no Sora," which began airing in October 2019, is currently airing its sixth episode, and in the seventh episode, Kutouryuu High School (Kuzu High School), to which the main character Sora Kurumaya belongs, has completed its first practice match and will take a new turn. Amidst high expectations for the upcoming storyline, the cast of characters that will appear in the story was announced.

Masayoshi Takemoto will play the role of Kutouryu High School teacher, Masayoshi Mayuki, and Sora's father, Tomohisa Kurumaya, will be played by Takehito Koyasu. Sora's grandmother, Yone Kurumaya, will be played by Kaoru Katagai. We can't take our eyes off the new characters that will appear in the future.
