Suibokuga-style smartphone RPG "Yokai Shoden" features voice actors for over 50 characters, including Tomori Kusunoki, Kengo Kawanishi, Kenjiro Tsuda, and Shun Horie for CVs!

Regina Entertainment, Inc. has announced that voice actors Tomori Kusunoki, Kengo Kawanishi, Kenji Tsuda, and Shun Horie have been cast as the main characters in "Yokai Shoden: Mononoke Sankai Kyogen" ("Yokai Shoden"), an ink-and-watercolor style Kigensetsu RPG for smartphones, scheduled for distribution this winter. In addition, the company announced that it has appointed about 20 voice actors for a total of more than 50 characters.

In "YOKAI SHODEN," the main character "Koushuku," an apprentice Taoist, and his siblings "Yateika" and "Kuku" and "Karin" join forces to exterminate demons and explore dungeons in a world depicted in the style of ink painting.

Karin (CV. Tomori Kusunoki)

A girl of the fox tribe. She is one of the many demons that sprang out of the other world and into the human world when demons invaded the Seizendai. She eats yokai, spirits, and hermits, and drools over the delicacies of many demons in the human world, trying to gluttonize them. Anyone who interferes with Hana-ring's meals falls prey to her sword.

He is a terminal Taoist with an impulsive and empty view of the world. He spends his days playing around, often going to villages to deceive the villagers and calling himself a genius Taoist. When demons invade Seonjeongdae, he is given the heavy responsibility by his master and runs away with Kuku, who has turned into a raccoon dog demon, and begins his journey to exterminate the demons in a great commotion.

Yateika (CV. Kenjiro Tsuda)

As a child, Yateika was abandoned by his family in the mountains for being unlucky. Kuku (CV: Shun Horie)

While the Great Master of the Impulse and the Void on the Seizendai was trying to seal the demons in the Book of Heaven, he accidentally collided with a misty raccoon dog and his body was replaced. From his diary before his death, posterity learned that he wept daily during the days he fled with Eshun Tsuki. It is said that he was so depressed that he secretly made straw dolls and stuck needles into them to quell his anger. He survived in shame and said that his days were painful beyond words.
