Production of the second TV anime season of "The Bride of the Fifth Estate" is decided!

The production of the second season of the anime "The Bride of the Fifth Class," which aired on TBS in January this year, has been decided.

Bride of the Fifth Class" is a popular comic series by Haruba Negi serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), which has sold more than 1.5 million copies (the latest volume 7 was released on December 17). The main character, a high school boy living in poverty, becomes a tutor for five sisters with rich personalities who are on the verge of flunking out of high school, and struggles to lead them to graduation.

The second season of the anime "The Bride of the Fifth Class," which aired on TBS in the January season this year, is now in production.

The first season starred Sadashijo Matsuoka as the main character, Futaro Uesugi, and the five beautiful girls with rich personalities who woo Futaro, including Kana Hanazawa, Ayana Taketatsu, Miki Ito, Ayane Sakura, and Inori Minase, all of whom are popular in the voice acting world today. The show ended with great success, and there were many requests for a sequel.

Futaro is destined to marry one of the five sisters later on. In the first season, Futaro became the governess of the quintuplets, and the story was depicted up to the day of the forest school campfire, 2000 days before the wedding.
