NES Nintendo Switch Online" adds "VS. Excitebike," "Kurukuru Land," and "Donkey Kong JR." on May 15!

Nintendo announced the addition of this month's new titles for Family Computer Nintendo Switch Online, a collection of NES games that can be played by subscribing to Nintendo Switch Online, on Wednesday, May 15.

This month's additions are "VS. Excitebike" (Nintendo), "Kuru Kuru Land" (Nintendo), and "Donkey Kong JR." Look for these three titles to become available on Wednesday, May 15!

VS. Excitebike (Nintendo)
A motorcycle race to overcome various obstacles and reach the goal.

This title is a motorcycle racing game for the Family Computer Disk System released in 1988.
The aim is to overcome various obstacles placed on the track and achieve a high ranking.
In the qualifying round, you must complete a single lap of the track alone, and if you reach the finish line within the specified time, you will advance to the finals.
In the finals, contestants race against competing motocrossers, and if they finish faster than the time required to win a prize, they will be eligible to compete in the next race.
If you fail to finish within the time limit, your remaining time will be reduced, and when it reaches zero, the game is over.
There are various techniques for operating the bike.
Control the distance and landing of jumps with speed and angle during jumps, and wheelie through small obstacles to shorten your time.
In "VS EDIT," you can freely place obstacles, jumps, and other parts to create your own original track.

Find gold nuggets by spinning around and around. You can also enjoy cooperative play.

You control Gruppi, the main character, and search for gold nuggets hidden in the stage.
Gruppi automatically goes straight, but you can change the direction by releasing the turn post at the right moment after holding onto it.
The stage is cleared when all the gold nuggets are found.
You can also enjoy cooperative play.
This software is a reproduction of the Disk System version, not the Family Computer version.

■Donkey Kong JR.
Go up and down vines, avoid enemies, pick up keys, and rescue your father's Donkey Kong.

This title is an action game for the Family Computer, released in 1983 as a sequel to Donkey Kong.
Donkey Kong is trapped in a cage by Mario, and his son Junior is on a mission to rescue him.
The player moves up and down the vines to avoid enemies, while aiming for the key at the top of the screen in the first three levels.
On the fourth level, the player must push up the six keys and insert them into all the keyholes to clear the game.
This is a rare title in which Mario appears as an enemy.
