The town of Oarai in Ibaraki Prefecture, where the anime takes place, continues to attract a steady stream of fans who visit the town. The first episode of the latest OVA series "The Final Chapter" was screened in theaters in December 2017 and grossed over 600 million yen at the box office. Its sequel, the second episode, was released on Saturday, June 15, 2019.

A new pillowcase featuring a newly-drawn illustration of Marie from "Girls und Panzer: The Final Chapter" will be released by Movic in February 2020 on a made-to-order basis.

Marie is the captain of the BC Jiyu Gakuen tank team. She has a calm personality and loves sweets so much that she eats cake even during games.
The front side features her relaxing in bed eating sweets, while the back side features her relaxing in a bath of roses. The illustration gives a glimpse into Marie's private life.
The fabric material is Snow White (2-way tricot), which is soft to the touch and has strong durability.
