TOMY Arts and Calbee have collaborated! Smart Potato Chips, a dedicated device that allows users to eat "Potato Chips" without getting their hands dirty, will go on sale on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

Smart Potato Chips" is a modernized version of the "Potato Chip Hand," a magic hand specially designed for potato chips that was first released in 2010. The "Potato Chip Hand" was popular for its ability to eat potato chips without getting one's hands dirty, and was a big hit at the time, selling a total of over 300,000 units.

For this renewal, the function of a stylus for smartphones was newly added to the magic hand that can pick up potato chips! The concept of the new product was "a stylus that can eat potato chips. The user presses a button to move the finger on the device to pick up and eat potato chips.

After eating the chips, the user turns the device upside down and grips the metal plates on the left and right sides to use the stylus on the bottom of the device to operate a smartphone.

The design of the body is based on the design of Calbee's "Potato Chips. The coloring is inspired by the packaging of four popular flavors of the product and is decorated with the product's logo.
