Master Rank" quests that go above and beyond the higher ranks are now available!

In addition to the "lower" and "higher" ranks, a new quest rank, "Master Rank," has been added to the "lower" and "higher" ranks. In addition to the new "Master Rank" quests, new materials and even tougher monsters than those of the higher ranks await the player!
The new stage "The Frozen Land of Migrations
A very cold and harsh climate, closed off by snow and ice.
At first glance, it may seem like an unlikely habitat for a variety of creatures, but it appears to have its own ecosystem, with cold-tolerant herbivorous species such as the popo and large carnivorous species that prey on them confirmed. The terrain is also unique, with deep snow, steamy hot springs, and unstable ground that is in danger of collapsing.
The "frozen crossing" can sometimes be extremely demanding. In some places, we have to travel along roads that are deeply covered with snow. To survive the cold, new hunting techniques, such as gathering hot peppers and using them as a hot drink, will come in handy. Also noteworthy is the detailed visual depiction of snow and other elements that have never been seen before in the "Monster Hunter" series.
An unknown ecosystem nurtured in a previously unexplored area. In "Migratory Frozen Land," you will find a rich variety of unique creatures and monsters that can only be found in cold climates. The long-haired herbivore "Popo" also lives in the cold region. The mild-mannered herbivores flee with their herds when attacked, but the adult males boldly fight back with their huge fangs to protect their offspring. The white pterosaur "colts," which inhabit the Migratory Frozen Ground, have a fixed flight route for each herd, and can be used by hunters for transportation.
There are many other areas in the Migratory Frozen Ground. The areas introduced here are only some of them. As the investigation progresses, the area of activity will expand, giving a sense of the largest field in "Monster Hunter: World.
New monsters have appeared!
A mysterious old dragon awaits you in the "Frozen Land of Migrations," an area with ecosystems and environments that have yet to be seen.
Bingryu Iverkhana (Bing Dragon)
An ancient dragon that freezes everything in its path. According to old legends, it is said to be able to manipulate cold air at will and unleash a cryogenic breath.
Yverkana, which also appears in the package visual, is the main monster involved in the story, and its ecology is currently under investigation.
Monsters that inhabit the "Frozen Land of Migrations
Buffalo dragon
A beast dragon monster with two large horns and the ability to charge.
It rushes forward while scraping the ground with its horns, sometimes engulfing trees as it does so.
They are usually found drinking water from hot springs or sunbathing, but they also have a belligerent side.
Brantos, a frozen fish dragon
A new monster encountered in the first survey of the Migratory Frozen Ground.
This piscivorous monster swims freely in the frozen snow, using its sharply pointed head to wade through the snow.
It is frequently seen flying snow with its leg fins toward its prey.
It hunts down its prey while hiding under the snow.
They can also be seen preying on the Popo and engaging in fierce territorial battles with the Buffalo.
Ecosystems are also changing in each field. Monsters whose traces have not been discovered until now!
Nalgakuruga, the swift dragon
A flying dragon covered with jet-black body hair like a beast.
It is particularly skilled in athleticism, especially on land, and is feared and called "Xunryu" (swift dragon) for its instantaneous power.
It is feared for its quick attacks and tricky maneuvers. While retaining its characteristic of hiding in the dark and targeting its prey with terrifying speed, "Monster Hunter: World" also features rich ecological expressions such as the territorial battle with "Rio Reus," which reigns at the top of the ecosystem in the ancient forest of trees.
● Deepening hunting action, including additional actions and coordination using the slinger!
▼ New action "Clutch Crawl
An extended function added to the slinger. The slinger can clutch onto a monster by firing a sharp claw-like claw.
This new action allows the slinger to control the monster's movement while clinging to it.
Clutching / Clinging
By firing a claw, you can clutch onto a monster.
While clinging, stamina is consumed, but several actions are possible
Battoushi-Bashi
The ▲ "Blow Away" command fires all the bullets from the slinger while clinging to the monster's head and blasts it in the direction it is facing. This allows for new maneuvers, such as slamming into a wall to create an opening, or placing the slinger in a pit.
Clutching Weapon Attacks
A special finishing attack with a weapon from ▲ clutch (clinging).
The effect seems to vary depending on the type of weapon... let's wait for further details!
The "Slinger" has been modified to be easier to use!
All weapon types can now use the slinger while drawing the sword!
You can use various items with the slinger while drawing your sword, expanding the range of your actions.
Enhanced Shooting
The slinger has a shorter range than the normal slinger rounds, but the "reinforced fire" has increased power. This new action makes it easier to take a monster's flinch. It can be performed with certain weapons such as the great sword and twin swords.
New linked actions and new elements
In addition to those introduced here, new coordinated actions and new elements will appear for all weapon types, including coordination using the twin sword's clutch claw and the light bow gun's new enhanced parts that allow reloading bullets while evading.
Details will be introduced in a video at a later date, so look forward to new actions that take advantage of the characteristics of each weapon type!
