The Legend of the Galactic Heroes" is the masterpiece of popular author Yoshiki Tanaka, and the first volume was published in 1982.
Thousands of years in the future, two heroes emerge like comets from the endless battle between humans. This epic novel, which depicts the history of the galaxy on a grand scale, centering on the battle between these two fated heroes, began its anime adaptation in 1988 with the feature film "My Conquest of the Star Ocean. In September of that year, the first season of the main biography was produced, followed by a series of episodes, eventually totaling 165 episodes in all, including the main and external biographies.
The series has been developed into a variety of media, including comics and stage performances, and in April 2018, Production I.G began airing the anime "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These," and in 2019, "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These Star Ran" will be shown in theaters. It has been decided that "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These 星乱" will be released in three consecutive months in September, October, and November 2019. The first chapter will begin screening on Friday, September 27, followed by the second chapter on Friday, October 25, 2019, and the third chapter on Friday, November 29, 2019.

In addition, two teaser visuals of "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These" were released: Galactic Empire Ver. and Free Planet Alliance Ver.
The illustration featuring the main characters of both countries has been newly drawn by Yoko Kikuchi, character designer. The visuals also include copies for each country, such as "To achieve this, we will fulfill our ambitions," and "To draw the future, we will draw the future," which will raise expectations for what kind of story will unfold in the main story. <Story.

In the year 796 of the stardate (487 of the imperial calendar), the expeditionary force of the Alliance of Free Planets, which mobilized 30 million generals, engaged the large fleet led by Admiral Reinhardt, now deputy commander-in-chief of the Galactic Imperial Space Fleet, and his troops in the imperial territory. However, Commander-in-Chief Lobos, who had received the wish of the Supreme Council of the Alliance of Free Planets, ordered the continuation of the battle with the remaining forces assembled. Reinhardt, who was seeking a complete victory, also advanced to the Amuritsa star area, the rallying point for the Free Planet Alliance forces, opening the battle that would later be called the "Battle of Amuritsa.
