Linked Horizon releases a promotion movie of their new song "13 Winters"! The vocalist is Yui Ishikawa, the voice actress who plays Mikasa in the TV anime "Shinkage no Kyojin"!

On May 13 (Mon.) at 1:00 p.m., a Promotion Movie (Short ver.) of Linked Horizon's new song, "13 Winters," was released, announcing that the guest vocalist is voice actress Yui Ishikawa, who also plays Mikasa in the TV anime "Shinkaku no Kyojin" production.

This video is the song "13 no Fuyu," which is included in the fourth single "Truth to Truth" to be released on June 19 (Wed.) by Linked Horizon, which is once again in the spotlight as the opening theme for the TV anime "Shinkaku no Kyojin" Season 3 Part 2, which has been airing since April.

A part of this song was released on April Fool's Day last month, April 1, with no information revealed other than that a female vocalist was used, and fans were wondering who was singing the song.

It was announced that the mysterious vocalist who sang the song was Yui Ishikawa, a voice actress who also plays Mikasa in the TV anime "Shinkage no Kyojin".

Ishikawa, who is participating in Linked Horizon's work for the first time, has commented on her delight in the project.

When I first heard about this project, I honestly thought, "What? Are you sure? I was surprised.
The songs of "Shinkage no Kyojin" written by Revo-san always have a very deep understanding of the storyline, and I have often been reminded of this through the lyrics.
So when I think of "Shinkage x Linked Horizon," I have a lot of trust in them.
I had a faint desire to sing one of Revo's songs someday, but I felt that the worldview of "Shinkage" would prevent me from expressing that feeling in words, so I kept it buried deep in my heart.
However, I am very, very happy that my dream has come true in such a wonderful way! As I am the one who plays the role, I am the one who sings the song, so I tried to express myself in a way that only an actor can, and only I can.
I put my heart and soul into the song.
I hope that both Rinhora fans and fans of the marching band will listen to it!

Yui Ishikawa as Mikasa in the TV anime "Shinkage no Kyojin

As Ishikawa commented, "I aimed to express myself in a way that only an actor and only I can," the world of "The Battlestar Giants" as portrayed by Linked Horizon through music is a world of Mikasa and Eren.
