New characters for PS4's "New Sakura Wars," including details about the parents of heroine Sakura Amamiya!

New Sakura Wars" for PS4 (Sega Games) is scheduled for release on December 12, 2019. Information about the new characters appearing in this title has been released.

New Sakura Wars" is a dramatic 3D action adventure set in the fictional "Taisho Era" Imperial City of Tokyo, and follows the exploits of the "Teikoku Kagekidan" as they fight against evil. The main character design is by Kubo Taito, known as the creator of the manga "BLEACH" serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha). The music is by Kouhei Tanaka, who has provided many songs for previous titles in the series. The story will be composed by Ishiijiro, who is active in a variety of media, including games, TV animation, and movies.

New Characters
Hinata Amamiya (CV: Mariko Kunifuda)

Amamiya Sakura's mother. Deceased. She passed away when she was 27 years old, but her positive attitude and never-giving-up attitude had a strong influence on Sakura in her childhood and has been passed down to her. Sakura's sword "Amamiya Kunisada" is a memento of Hinata's and has become her beloved sword, carrying on her mother's wishes.

Amamiya Tekkan (CV: Hayami Tadashi)

Father of Sakura Amamiya, he is 42 years old. He is a blacksmith who forges sacred tools for a living, and raised Sakura by himself after losing his wife, Hinata. He is a quiet man of few words, and the word "craftsman" fits his temperament well, but he is not only strict but also kind and reliable. He calls Sakura and her childhood friend Kamiyama "Makoto-bon" in a friendly way.



Mochizuki Hattansai (CV: Shoji Sato)

The chieftain of the Mochizuki-style ninja village and the foster parent of Azami Mochizuki. His age is unknown. In place of her parents, he passed on the rules of the 108-jo village to Azami in the process of raising her as a ninja. After Azami joins the Teikoku Kagekidan, he has her keep a diary, which he visits the Imperial Capital every week to check.
