The latest volume 5 of "Yari no Yusha no Yusha no Yattei", the official spin-off of "The Rise of the Shield Hero", is a special edition with a drama CD! The cast is determined!

The latest five comics volumes of the official spin-off of the TV anime "The Rise of the Yakuza of the Shield," which has been airing since January 9, 2019, "The Rise of the Yakuza of the Shield," and a special edition with drama CD, have arrived.

The "Rise of the Shield Hero" was first published on the novel submission site "Shosetsu-kaerou" (Novelist's Letter), and was published in book form by MF Books (KADOKAWA) in 2013. It is a popular light novel by Aneko Yusagi, currently in its 20th volume.
Iwatani Naofumi is an otaku college student who is summoned to another world as one of the heroes. He sets out on a journey of training to protect the world, but is betrayed by his friends after only a few days. This is a fantasy about a man who loses everything, including his money and position, and rises to the top.
The animation production staff includes Takao Abo as director, Keigo Koyanagi as series composition, Masahiro Suwa as character design and chief animation director, Hiroki Gobun as sound director, and Kevin Penkin as music. Animation production will be handled by Kinema Citrus.

Yari no Yusha no Yakkeshi no Yadokaji (written by Niito, original story by Aneko Yusagi) is a manga work serialized on the free web comic site Comic Walker. It is an official spin-off of "The Rise of the Younger Hero of the Shield," a TV anime currently airing to rave reviews, and is a comical and exhilarating otherworldly redo fantasy work featuring Motoyasu, a spear-wielding hero who appears in the work.

The cast and contents of the special edition with drama CD of the fifth volume of the latest "Yari no Yusha no Yuusha no Yarai" comic, which will be released on August 23, have been revealed.

As in the TV anime "The Rise of the Shield Hero," Shin Takahashi and Kaito Ishikawa will play the roles of Motoyasu and Shobun, respectively, and Rina Hidaka will play the role of PhiloReal Sakura, who was raised by Motoyasu in the "The Rise of the Shield Hero.
Yuki, Kou, and other philorealists are also scheduled to appear.

The contents of the drama CD have also been revealed.
The story in the drama CD will be newly written by the original author, Aneko Yusagi.
The story will be about Motoyasu, Shobun, Philoreal and their daily episodes in Siltwelt.
