Hikaru no Go" collaboration cafes open at animate cafes in Ikebukuro, Sendai, and Nagoya from 11/28!

Ltd. will hold a collaboration cafe for the TV anime "Hikaru no Go" at Animate Cafe Ikebukuro, Sendai, and Nagoya. The event will run from November 28, 2019 to January 7, 2020. Admission is by lottery reservation only at Animate Cafe Ikebukuro, and free admission at Animate Cafe Sendai and Nagoya.

Hikaru no Go" is an animation work based on the boys' manga of the same title that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from December 1998 to July 2003. The story begins with the encounter between the main character Hikaru Shindo and the genius Heian-era prodigy Fujiwara Satoshi, and depicts his growth through friendly competition with many rivals in the game of Go, creating a "Go boom" that has generated a huge response.

At the collaboration café, visitors can enjoy a collaboration menu inspired by the characters in the story. In addition, when you order from the collaboration menu, you will be presented with one of a total of eight different coasters, each featuring a newly drawn illustration.

In addition, a number of goods limited to the collaboration café will be sold at the store, including a "BIG acrylic stand" and "trading portrait" using newly-drawn illustrations, as well as a "Gosei-style accessory case" containing candy with an image of a go stone and an acrylic charm of Satoe Fujiwara.
