TV anime "Dr. Stone", character setting drawings of Kohaku, Krom, Goldwolf, and Silverwolf & character designer Yuko Iwasa's comments released!

From the TV anime "Dr. STONE," which is set to air from July 2019, character setting drawings of Kohaku, Krom, Kinro, and Ginro, as well as comments from character designer Yuko Iwasa, have been released.

Dr.STONE" is a popular work written by Riichiro Inagaki and drawn by Boichi, which won second place in the comics category of the "Next Comic Award 2018". Set in a world where the human race is about to become extinct due to petrification, this adventure work depicts Chisora, a science boy with a superhuman brain, who uses his knowledge to build a civilization from scratch.

Character setting drawings of Kohaku, Krom, Goldwolf, and Silverwolf, as well as comments by character designer Yuko Iwasa, have now been released.

Kohaku (CV: Aimi Numakura), a girl who is a skilled fighter and speaks with an old-fashioned tone; Chrom (CV: Motoi Sato), a curious, smart boy who is fascinated by science; Kinro (CV: Tomoaki Maeno), a young man with a serious personality; and Ginro (CV: Ayumi Murase), a timid and good-natured boy who is Kinro's younger brother. (CV: Ayumu Murase), the younger brother of Kinro.

Comments from Yuko Iwasa, the character designer of the film, on each of the pictures have also been received. Ms. Iwasa, who has worked as an animation director on numerous works including "D.Gray-man" and "Weakmushi Pedal," has created detailed designs and rich facial expressions for the characters!

Like Kohaku, I enjoy drawing this character because he has a variety of facial expressions. I can't wait to see the scenes where he interacts with Chisora and his friends. I think she may be the most like the main character in terms of facial expressions.

Goldilocks (CV: Tomoaki Maeno)

I like this kind of cool character, so it is actually the easiest for me to portray. He doesn't change his facial expression very much, but he sometimes makes a gag face, which I think is great. The dialogue between the brothers is also very enjoyable.
