UNIQLO will launch the UT Collection featuring the winning designs from the Pokémon-themed UT GRAND PRIX 2019 at UNIQLO stores nationwide and online starting Monday, June 24.
The theme of the 2019 UT GRAND PRIX, now in its 14th year, is "Pokémon," a global content loved around the world. From a record number of over 18,000 entries, 24 designs were carefully selected by a special team of Pokémon judges. The Grand Prix was awarded to a design featuring Gyarados and Koikking, which have appeared since the first generation of Pokémon, and which exquisitely expresses the appeal of the characters. In this article, we will introduce the winning designs and award-winning comments.
Furthermore, the Grand Prix winner will appear as a changeable item for the main character in "Pokémon Sword Shield" (Nintendo Switch / scheduled for release in winter 2019), the latest title in the "Pokémon" game series!
