The anime "YuruCan△" and the cutlery workshop "SIDEYASAKU" collaborated to produce a "hatchet" for sale!

The TV anime "Yuru Can△" and the Hinoura cutlery workshop "SIDEYASAKU" brand in Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture, have collaborated to sell a "Nata (hatchet)". The characters' faces and the collaboration logo are engraved on the authentic hatchets made by blacksmiths. Sales will begin at 20:00 on November 26, 2019 (Tuesday) at the e-commerce store of the village blacksmith who planned and developed the product.

YuruCan△" is a popular comic series serialized in "Manga Time Kirara Forward" (Houbunsha) by Afuro. Set in Yamanashi Prefecture, the popular manga loosely depicts high school girls enjoying outdoor life, camping and outdoor cooking. For the anime version, the staff went on several location scouting trips, and the thorough depiction of the outdoors, daily life, and scenery was well received. In January 2020, a short anime "Heya Can △" will be broadcast as the latest in the series.

Yuru Can△" x Lynn's Nata by Sagitiya

This is the machete used by the character Shima Rin in the series. The machete is made by Hinoura Cutlery in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture, one of Japan's leading cutlery towns, and is engraved with Rin's deformed face (dumpling hair version) and the collaboration logo.

A special leather case was also developed for this collaboration, using thick Tochigi leather. The case is finished in a roll type that is wrapped with a leather strap for storage, which is rare for a machete case. The leather case is also engraved with Lynn's deformed face (knit cap ver.) and the collaboration logo.
