Dragon Quest X Online" Browser Version to be Released! Closed beta test also conducted!

Square Enix, Inc. announced that on November 20, 2019, it will release the browser version of Dragon Quest X Online, the first online-only game in the Dragon Quest series. In addition, a closed beta test will be conducted for those who have already played "Dragon Quest X Online" prior to the official service launch.

Dragon Quest X Online" is the first online-only game in the "Dragon Quest" series, starting with "Dragon Quest X: The Awakened Five Tribes" released in August 2012, followed by "Dragon Quest X: The Ibaraki Priestess and the God of Ruin Online" in October 2019.

This service allows users to play "Dragon Quest X Online" on their Internet browsers; as long as the browser supports HTML5, they can play the game from PCs, smartphones, tablets, etc. [Major browsers that support HTML5

Overview of Closed Beta Test

A closed beta test will be conducted prior to the official service launch. Those who have already played "Dragon Quest X Online" are encouraged to apply.

Beta Test Outline
Eligibility:
　(1) Those who are playing or have played "Dragon Quest X Online" using a Square Enix account.
　(2) Registration codes or product codes for Wii U, Windows, PlayStation 4, or Nintendo Switch (all of which are full versions) must be registered in your account.
Beta test period: Monday, December 2, 2019 around 12:00 pm - Friday, December 20, 2019 around 12:00 pm

　Before applying, please check the Beta Test Terms and Conditions on the application page and submit your application through the application page.
Application period: Tuesday, November 26, 2019, 12:00 p.m.

*There is no usage fee for participating in the beta test, but customers are responsible for their own Internet communication fees.
*There are no bonus items related to beta test participation.
