Osamu Dazai's "Human Lost" becomes a crazy sci-fi action film! A 7-minute clip of "HUMAN LOST: Ningen Shikkaku" is available for preview!

A seven-minute clip from the beginning of the animated feature "HUMAN LOST: Ningen Shikkaku," which will be released in theaters on November 29, 2019 (Friday), is available for preview on "GYAO!

HUMAN LOST: Ningen Shikkaku" is a dynamic remake of Osamu Dazai's "Ningen Shikkaku," a classic of Japanese literature that depicts the life of a man who is doomed to destruction, and will be released in theaters on November 29, 2019 (Friday).


The film is set in Tokyo in the year 111 of the Showa Era, when the medical revolution has conquered "death". People are guaranteed a life span of 120 years without getting sick or needing medical attention for their wounds, thanks to the control of "nanomachines" in their bodies and the "S.H.E.L.L." system that manages them through a "network. However, this ultimate social system has caused various distortions in the nation, creating "Lost Bodies," human beings who deviate from the S.H.E.L.L. network and become deformed. One day, the main character "Hazura Ohba" encounters this "Lost Body" - the story goes.


The supervisor is Katsuyuki Motohiro, who created a social phenomenon with "Odoru Daisousasen" and "PSYCHO-PASS: Psycho-Pass. The director is Fumitomo Kizaki, who is highly acclaimed both in Japan and abroad for his one-of-a-kind sense of style, including "Afro Samurai," "Basilisk: Koga Ninpocho," and "Bayonetta Bluddyfate. The screenplay is by novelist Ubukata Tow, who won the Japan Science Fiction Grand Prize for "Mardock Scramble" and the Yoshikawa Eiji Literary Newcomer Award for "Tenchi Meisatsu", among many other awards. Character design is by Yusuke Kozaki, creator of many classic games and animation characters such as "PokemonGO" and "Fire Emblem," and concept art by Kenichiro Tomiyasu, who has participated in large-scale projects both in Japan and abroad such as "Final Fantasy XI" and "Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. Kenichiro Tomiyasu, who has participated in large-scale projects such as "Final Fantasy XI" and "Metal Gear Rising Revengeance," was selected for concept art.


The animation production will be handled by Polygon Pictures, which has won numerous awards overseas, including "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and "Transformers Prime," and continues to revolutionize the visual image with the "GODZILLA" animation trilogy and "BLAME!

The 7-minute video at the beginning of the film, which was released on November 19, 2019, begins with a shocking scene in which the main character, Hazura Ohba, stabs himself in the stomach with a special sword called the "Device Sword". The film makes us wonder how an ordinary human being is transformed into a deformed human being, the " Lost Body," and how Ohba Hazura is involved with them.
