Butterfly Ki: The Young Nobunaga" is a historical anime that boldly interprets the real-life famous military commander "Oda Nobunaga. The story is a bold interpretation of the real-life famous warlord "Nobunaga Oda". The story depicts the aesthetic world of the unprecedented and sensitive Nobunaga Oda and his famous generals, the conflicts and betrayals of young people, and battles, with character designs by Atsuko Nakajima of "Usuzakuraki" fame. Animation production will be handled by Studio Deen.

On May 12, 2019 (Sun) at United Cinema Aqua City Odaiba (Tokyo), the TV anime "Butterfly Ki: Young Nobunaga" Oda Nobunaga Birthday Festival! The event was held at United Cinemas Aqua City Odaiba (Tokyo) on Sunday, December 12, 2012.

In addition to the advance screening of the first episode, the second PV, which was unveiled at the event, was shown for the first time, and a talk show was held with Yusuke Kobayashi, who plays the role of Nobunaga Oda, Kaito Ishikawa, who plays Nobukatsu Oda, and Yumiri Hanamori, who plays the role of Kicho.

Mr. Kobayashi served as the MC for the event, and after the greetings from each of the cast members, the first episode was screened.
The first episode depicted the childhood of the main character "Nobunaga". After the screening, Mr. Kobayashi, Mr. Ishikawa, and Mr. Hanamori took the stage again.
As we quickly asked them about their impressions after the screening, Mr. Ishikawa, who did not appear in the first episode, asked why he was invited here. Ms. Hanamori, who also appeared in the first episode as the narrator, commented, "There is nothing I can tell you," and the audience burst into laughter.
In the character introduction corner that followed, each character shared his/her impression and memories.


In the introduction of "Nobunaga Oda," Mr. Kobayashi said that he played the role of Nobunaga with a sensitive heart, rather than the typical demi-god or ruthless Nobunaga. He also struggled with the dialect, and played the role as he felt it.

He also prepared special excerpts of "Oda Nobukatsu" and "Kicho," who did not appear in the first episode. After watching the episode with the cast, they talked about each character.
Mr. Ishikawa said that he had never played such a sensitive character as "Nobukatsu Oda," and that it was difficult for him to play such a sensitive character. (While there is not much he can say about the character (due to spoilers), the key word he can say is "falling into the darkness. I'm going to show my true character, so please enjoy my 'darkness'", he commented.

In introducing "Kicho," Mr. Hanamori said, "There is not much I can tell you about him at this point because he is a character with a secret. However, as the story progresses, his secrets will be revealed, and I think he is a character that will keep you on the edge of your seat. After the introduction of Kicho, Mr. Ishikawa and Ms. Hanamori, who had little information to share at this point, asked him why he was invited to the show today and asked him to "reflect on his life! which drew laughter from the audience.
