The official voting project "Let's Decide Together" was held from April 20, 2019 to April 30, 2019 at Akiba Research Institute! Vote for the strongest game hardware in the Heisei era! ~The "Heisei no Yoroshiku GAME HARDWARE VOTE!
Let's decide together! Vote for the strongest game hardware in the Heisei era! ~Hardware for the console version

The purpose of this poll was to determine the most popular home video game hardware among those released in the Heisei era.
In a sense, the volume of this poll was similar to a general election for all home video games of the past generation, since the first hardware was released in the Showa era (1926-1989), and revised versions of the NES, Mega Drive, and PC Engine were also released in the Heisei era (1926-1989).
The results of such a vote are as follows!

No. 1 Super Nintendo Entertainment System (1990) 195 votes

No. 2 Wii (2006) 184 votes

No.3 NINTENDO64 (1996) 88 votes

No.4 PlayStation 2 (2000) 86 votes

No.5 Dreamcast (1998) 80 votes

No.6 Nintendo Switch (2009) 63 votes

No. 7 PlayStation 4 (2014) 60 votes

No. 8 PlayStation 3 (2006) 51 votes

No. 9 PlayStation (1994) 45 votes

No. 10 Xbox 360 (2005) 40 votes

The top 10 of this project, which received 1056 votes, are as follows.
The top three were dominated by Nintendo hardware.

The Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), which came in first place, is a legendary machine that dominated the 16-bit gaming era and released a number of popular titles. The Mini Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) was released last year, and as evidenced by the great response it received, the SNES still has great influence today.
The Wii, in second place, is characterized by its unique operation using the Wii remote control. In addition to being designed to allow users to play by moving their bodies, it was also released as a health management software title that could be used by the whole family, such as "Wii Fit," and caused a stir in the way game hardware was marketed.
Third place went to the NINTENDO 64, which was introduced at the end of the next-generation hardware wars in the mid-1990s. As a result, although a large percentage of the games were masterpieces, their release spans were often vacant or their development tended to be delayed. As a result, Nintendo's position as the champion until the SNES era was lost to the newcomer PlayStation, which is a tragic masterpiece.

The PlayStation 2 (No. 4) and Dreamcast (No. 5) follow the top three. They were released by SCE and SEGA, respectively. Both consoles were network-capable, and many users may have enjoyed playing games over the Internet with them. Graphic performance has also skyrocketed since then. Now you can enjoy CG that looks like it could be mistaken for a movie at home.
PlayStation 2 was also the first game hardware with DVD playback capability. Through the PlayStation 2, many people have come to enjoy not only games but also movies and animations on DVD.

Sixth on the list is the current Nintendo Switch, which combines the best of both standalone and portable hardware in its design. It is the culmination of Nintendo's hardware at this point in time, with a more advanced controller and other features. It's a must-have, so be sure to get one!

In seventh through ninth place are the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation, and the successive PS hardware. The PlayStation family, which has brought countless revolutions to the game industry, is perhaps the most representative game hardware of the Heisei era.

In tenth place was the black ship, the Xbox 360, a big, heavy, and surprisingly fragile piece of hardware that is as wild as an American car, but for some reason, it is also a piece of hardware that makes people feel attached to it. The more difficult the child is to handle, the cuter it is. Many game fans were also exposed to many foreign games through this machine. For users seeking new stimulation, this is the most attractive hardware. Also, the controller design is really excellent.
In my opinion, ...... is the hardware that I like the most!

So, the results were quite interesting.
