Hello everyone! This is Kariyasu☆, a hobby writer. In this corner, I'll be reviewing, modifying, and playing around with the Shokugan kits that interest me under the theme of "Shokugan for adults. In this fourth installment, we take a look at "Mobile Suit Gundam Micro Wars 3" from Bandai!

The Micro Wars series, as the name suggests, is a series of mobile suits and mecha equipped with movable pilot figures and hatch-opening gimmicks that allow you to create your own "little battlefield" to play with. The 33rd series currently on sale is,

The kit is partially pre-assembled, so it can be completed immediately.

Also, when applying the included stickers, be sure to apply them neatly in a single pass, as trying to re-apply them multiple times will cause them to lose adhesive strength and not stick properly.

The surface of the plastic is smooth and the sticker will easily come off, so it is recommended to lightly rub the surface with a sponge file before applying the sticker, and finally, firmly adhere the sticker to the top with a cotton swab or the like!

Let's put a pilot on it!

The biggest attraction of this series is that you can open the hatch of each aircraft and board the included pilot freely. In conventional kits, the pilot is just a bonus, but this series is different. Yes, the pilot is surprisingly movable!

As shown here, they can be freely posed. The colors are designed with the Earth Federation Forces and Zeon Forces in mind, so it might be fun to collect only pilots of the same color and display them to recreate a scene before launching into battle.

You can have all of the pilots board all of the aircraft. It would be fun to recreate the moment when they are about to board the hatch, by making creative poses!

I tried smudging on the ball! I smudged the ball with pitch black to make it stand out, but you could use a dark brown or a black closer to dark gray. Let's experiment with various options!

*Smudging...... is a technique in which enamel paints are diluted with a special solvent and poured into the recesses of a model to darken them and create a three-dimensional effect. Once you experience the sensation of the paint flowing smoothly through the capillary action, you will become addicted to it!

The Micro Wars series has been very popular because it can be easily enjoyed in this way, and the fourth series is scheduled to be released in February 2020. The fourth series will be released in February 2020, and will include the Unicorn Gundam (Destroy Mode), Jegan, Torohachi & Pilot, Sotheby's, and Hildolb & Pilot, making it a fun lineup to combine with kits already on the market!
