DEATH STRANDING, a title for PS4, will be released on November 8, 2019. The Japanese translation of the official artbook for this title will be released on January 29, 2020. Pre-orders are currently being accepted at Amazon co.jp.

DEATH STRANDING" is the latest work by director Hideo Kojima, known for his "Metal Gear" series. The story takes place on the North American continent, which has been devastated by a phenomenon known as "Death Stranding. People and cities have been torn apart, and the human race, having lost its connection, is in danger of extinction. Sam Porter Bridges, a legendary messenger, sets out on a mission to bring "the future" to those who are isolated and unable to move. The film stars Norman Reedus as the hero, Sam Bridges, and a cast of world-class actors including Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, and Lindsay Wagner.

The official art book, THE ART OF DEATH STRANDING, is published by the UK-based Titan Books. It contains a vast amount of material related to DEATH STRANDING, including concept art of characters, enemies, and stages created by art director Yoji Shinkawa, as well as hundreds of visuals that were not used in the game. The Japanese translation also retains the English translation of the original version, allowing the reader to enjoy the book in two different languages.
