Additional character visuals and cast members have been revealed from the new TV anime "Fictional Reasoning," which will air in winter 2020. In addition, the second key visual, broadcast date and time, author's comment, and program commercials were also released.

Fictional Reasoning" is a light novel work written by Kyo Jouhei of "Spiral" and "Tempest in the Garden" fame, and was originally released as a novel "Fictional Reasoning: Nanase Koujin" (illustrated by Hiro Kiyohara) by Kodansha Novel in 2011. In addition, "Fictional Reasoning" (Shonen Magazine R), a comic book adaptation by Chashiba Katase based on the same work, has been serialized since 2015.

In this work, the main character Kotoko Iwanaga, who has become the "god of wisdom" of monsters and ghosts, and Guro Sakuragawa, who has become immortal after eating "ghost flesh" and gaining powers of supernatural ability, face off in a mysterious case. The TV anime version of the series is directed by "Kiddy Guy," who also directed the TV anime version of the series.

The TV anime version is directed by Keiji Goto of "Kiddy Glade" and "End Ride," with series composition by Noboru Takagi of "Golden Kamui" and "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These," and character design and chief animation director Takatoshi Honda. Brains Base will be in charge of animation production.

I have been working as a manga author for a long time, so I thought, "Since I am going to publish a novel for the first time in a long time, let's do an elaborate mystery with long lines and a lot of explanation, which is not suitable for a manga," and it is strange that my novel has become a manga and then an anime.
I would appreciate it if you could take a look and judge whether my sense is wrong or whether the people who visualize such novels are unusually skilled.

When I was drawing the manga from the original novel, it was a strange and interesting experience for me to see parts of the manga that I had not imagined when I was reading the novel.
I am very much looking forward to watching the new elements as visual images with the addition of movement, voice and sound by becoming an animation!
